Spelling rules
Pattern 1
Verb + ing:
Play + ING = Playing
Go + ING = Going
Pattern 2
Verb ended in E+ ing: DELETE the E
Write + ING =Writing
take+ ING = Taking
Pattern 3
Verb with VOWEL+ CONSONANT= duplicate consonant
Run + ING = Running
Swim + ING = Swimming
